Rodeo FX Appoints Former MPC Exec Franck Lambertz to Head New Paris VFX Studio
New Paris VFX studio welcomes a VFX veteran. Discover the latest move by award-winning Montreal-based VFX powerhouse, Rodeo FX! Exec Franck Lambertz, a seasoned VFX expert with an impressive track record, has been chosen to lead Rodeo FX’s new Paris VFX studio. Lambertz will oversee various divisions, including Films & Episodics and Advertising & Experience.
Known for his collaboration with acclaimed directors like Frederik Bond, Rupert Sanders, Damien Chazelle, and more, Franck Lambertz brings his wealth of experience to Rodeo FX. His extensive portfolio includes award-winning campaigns for prestigious brands such as Chanel, Perrier, Ubisoft, and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
A veteran in the VFX world, Lambertz spent 18 years with MPC, a leading visual effects and animation group based in the UK. His journey began in London in 2005, specializing in advertising—an enduring passion that shaped his career. Lambertz played a pivotal role in MPC’s global expansion, contributing to the opening of new studios in L.A. (2008), Amsterdam (2013), and Paris (2015). Additionally, he actively participated in establishing the French section of the Visual Effects Society (VES).

Launched in June 2023, Rodeo FX’s Paris studio represents the company’s fifth office, joining the ranks of Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, and Los Angeles. Situated in Paris’ 11ème arrondissement, this studio collaborates with Rodeo FX’s 900 international artists, contributing to major productions like Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon and Monarch: Legacy of Monster for Apple TV+.
