The Compositing Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising the team of compositors, briefing them, and providing timely constructive feedback. Being able to ensure consistency, develop production methodologies, creative approaches and problem-solving is paramount for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Planning and coordination of the Comp Shot deliveries
– Compositing of complex shots including CG generated and filmed elements
– Delivering final shots that are technically and creative excellent
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
– Excellent skills and experience in using Nuke and Shotgun
– Previous experience as a compositing supervisor in national and international feature film
– Excellent understanding of techniques and technologies related to CG rendering and compositing
– Knowledge of color science would be a plus
– General understanding of the whole CG pipeline
– Proven technical and creative ability in feature-film production environment
– Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines
